The PROFOREST Centre of Excellence
devoted to protection of forest resources in Central Europe
is led by the Forest Research Institute in Warsaw (FRIW), Polanddevoted to protection of forest resources in Central Europe
(in Polish - Instytut Badawczy Leśnictwa, known commonly as 'IBL' throughout Poland and in neighbouring countries)
