Within a framework of task WP2.5 “Genetic resources conservation by microproduction”, two scientists from the Centre, Dr Krystyna Szczygieł and M.Sc. Anna Jagielska visited in 3-9 September the Forestry and Game Management Research Institute (Výzkumný Ústav Lesniho Hospodářstvi a Myslivosti) in Jilovište-Strnady, Czech Republic. During the visit researchers from Poland became familiar with research regards microreproduction of forest tree species with special consideration of in vitro reproduction of threaten species with extinction which are carried out in Department of Forest Tree Biotechnology and with research methods of forest trees genetic diversity. (RAPD, STS, microsatellite genetic markers use). Moreover, the research interest of IBL’s Department of Forest Genetics and Tree Physiology was presented. BACK TO PRECEDING PAGE |
