BACK TO PRECEDING PAGE In the framework of Workpackage 7.1, The use of databases and GIS in forest protection, on 19-23 June, dr Marcin Jachym visited Forest Protection Institute (Bundesforschungs- und Ausbildugszentrum für Wald, Naturgefahren und Landschaft – Institute für Waldschutz), with its headquarters in Vienna (Austria). Aims of this visit:     - to discuss co-operation in creation of databases and digital maps of chosen biotic threats to the forest in Central Europe,     - to receive digital maps and databases regarding threat to pine and spruce stands from cambiophages.
