BACK TO PRECEDING PAGEOn 6-11 March 2006, in the framework of task WP 4.3 ‘Activities promoting genetic diversity conservation of forest tree species’, Dr Justyna Nowakowska and M.Sc. Marcin Klisz from Department of Forest Genetics and Trees Physiology FRIW made a consultation visit to Umea Plant Science Center (UPSC) in University of Umea, Sweden. During the stay, Dr Nowakowska presented a paper on works carried on in Laboratory of DNA Analyses in FRIW and became familiar with computer data analyses of microsatellite DNA in tree species. M.Sc. Marcin Klisz acquired knowledge about modern methods of wood structure studies (X-ray densitometer) used in UPSC in Umea.
