The main topic is related to genetic diversity conservation methods, especially for Scots pine and other widely occurring species. In two day sessions invited experts will give presentations related to achievements in genetics and to breeding efforts being made along with conservation measures in Poland and EU countries. During the field trip we shall meet practical applications of some presented ideas. Round table discussions are very welcome.

It is our intention to keep the meeting as a broad base for exchange of information related to genetic conservation and sustainable management of forest genetic resources. Therefore we also welcome foresters practitioners with their valuable input.
