BACK TO PRECEDING PAGE Within a framework of WP 1.4 task, Dr Krzysztof Rakowski visited Oulu University in Finland. The aim of workpackage WP 1.4 is dissemination of knowledge and initiation of common research on molecular ecophysiology of forest trees. To fulfill the objective Dr Rakowski presented paper "Stress responses of plasma membrane: an example for molecular ecophysiology in forest trees". He became familiar with studies concern UV-B influence on forest trees and forest trees frost resistance. Additionally, common with Finnish researchers EU project proposal elaboration were discussed.
