Within a framework of task WP1.5, „Effects of Scots pine debarking by large herbivorous" Dr Paweł Nasiadka from Department of Forest Ecology and Game Management visited on 20-24 March the Federation of Associations for Hunting and Conservation of the EU, Brussels, Belgium. The aim of the meeting was to exchange of information on relation between types of forest ownership (private, municipal, state) and game management regarding responsibilities for game damages, means of its inventorying and methods of prevention. Dr Nasiadka obtained information concerning present directions and topics of research carried out by UE units dealing with game management (buildling research capasity).
